Apache Log4j2 security alert
Jedox is aware of the Apache Log4j2 remote code execution vulnerability, with the CVE ID of CVE-2021-44228. Over the last hours and days, the critical vulnerability in the open-source logging software Apache Log4j 2 has had the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) issuing an emergency security update.
The Jedox team launched immediate action and patched all supported Cloud versions, including Jedox 2020.4 or later (Jedox 21.1, 21.2, 21.3 and 21.4).
We are actively monitoring this issue and will provide technical conclusions and publish updates should new information emerge.
