Regional storage volume has reached 100% capacity
Updates
Dear customer,
Jedox has located the cause for the issue and implemented a solution to restore the affected environments.
The issue was caused by Netapp volume for the German cloud region, reaching 100% of its storage allocated capacity.
Threshold of alert was too narrow set, so the team could not correct it without interfering with some customer environments, which resulted in unexpected downtime.
Corrective and preventive actions:
- We have immediately reviewed and corrected the malfunctioning alerting for storage thresholds on the affected cloud region.
- We have have done a sanity check for Netapp monitoring system on all Cloud regions, to ensure that proper configuration is set in order to detect when they are running low on space.
- We are researching for further enhancement of the dynamic storage allocation system.
Please rest assured that our top priority is to provide you with the best possible service and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
